'The 7th Annual Ryan & Jenny Weekend'

The Ryan and Jenny weekend has become 'The Friendly Dance Camp' here in the UK. All the previous years events proving that 'to be a good event it doesn't have to be a big event'. We've had a tremendous response from the previous attendees who loved the venue, the teachers, the music and the friendly atmosphere. The venue has one big room and a couple of smaller rooms so places at the weekend are Limited.
If you are a friendly, down to earth, nice person who does the Lindy Hop - This is for you!!!

The top Lindy Hop couple in the world. Ryan was at the heart of the Lindy Hop revival in the 1980's. Best known lately for their work as the real stars of BBC Strictly Come Dancing, but this page is too small to tell all. Bic and Simone are much admired in the Lindy Hop social dancing scene and teach Lindy Hop classes on the south coast of England, They are the organisers of the 2nd best Sunday night swing dance in the UK - The Sugarpush!

You can book a weekend pass at your level including Friday & Saturday evening dances, or you can book an individual day pass. Additional classes may be booked in other levels as long as you are good enough.
This allows you to pay for what you want and what you can afford.

NOTE 2: Friday dance can be booked in advance or 'pay on door' if available whilst Sunday dance is 'pay on door' only and NOT part of the weekend pass.
All Classes are for Lindy Hop unless stated otherwise.
There are 3 levels of classes. Sorry no Level 1 - Beginners classes.
Level 2 - Improvers/Intermediate - You know a Swing Out, Charleston, other 6 and 8 count
moves and can triple step. You are not very confident and struggle a bit socially to get it together.
Level 3 - Intermediate Advanced - You've been attending good quality Lindy Hop classes for 3+
years, are confident with Charleston, 6 & 8 counts, and dance socially with partners of all levels.
Level 4 - Advanced - You've been attending regular, good quality Lindy Hop classes for 6+ years.
You're confident with Jazz Steps, aren't afraid to try things out, and would dance socially with
anyone of any standard to both slow and quick tempos. If you need to ask, the answer is no!

Friday Night Dance - £8 (in advance or on door if available)
Welcome dance with Gary 'The Duke' Boon plus Guest DJ's.
Starts at 7:30pm - 11:30pm with honesty bar or bring your own drinks
Saturday Night Dance - £13 (Only available to attendees of the workshops)
Featuring live band 'Cate Cody & Her Salty Dogs' + top swing dance DJ's
Starts at 7:30pm and finishes at around 11:45pm. Band on stage at 8:15pm
There will be a fully licensed bar so please do not bring your own drinks.
Sunday Night Dance - £6 Pay on door
The Fabulous 'Duke's Place - The Jazz Cafe'
Dancing from 6:30pm till 10:00pm with Jazz Cafe bar or bring your own drinks
Friday dance can be booked in advance or pay on door (if available)
Sunday dance is 'pay on door' only and is NOT part of the weekend package

We will have soft drinks, tea and coffee available during the daytime or feel free to bring your own. For lunch, evening meals and other food requirements there is a great pub right next door and also a Tesco and loads of other stores 2 min walk away.
